Flowering with life and vibrant decor, the Social Hideout is the prettiest cafe Sydney is home to. The cafe offers a unique range of drinks such as any iced drink served in a miniature golden bathtub or dishes such as purple-coloured taro hot cakes.
The dishes I decided to taste were the Taro Hotcakes with Pink Pitaya, Berries, Mango Cubes, Black Sesame Ice Cream, Mint, Taro Marron Sauce and three Sexy Sliders with Slow Cooked Pulled Pork, Apple Slaw, Sriracha Mayo.
I enjoyed the light and fluffy hot cakes however the black sesame ice cream they came with had an unusual flavour. The sliders were a delicious savoury contrast to the sweetness of the hotcakes. I finished off the meals with a smooth yet zesty Red Velvet Latte.
